Black Hills State University - Rapid City

Black Hills State University in Rapid City is the location for higher education courses available through USD, SDSU and BHSU within the city limits of Rapid City. The facility is designed for 1,600 students, with administration and faculty space, public circulation areas, a coffee shop and bookstore, 24 classrooms, a lecture hall accommodating 100 and many student seminar and study rooms.  

The Board of Regents requested the architect design a distinctive building that students find attractive and will be recognizable as a higher education facility in the community. Located adjacent to I-90 at Exit 61, the campus is highly visible and easy to locate.
