Evan Marquardt, Assoc. IIDA, SDID, joined Architecture Incorporated in 2026 as an Interior Designer in our Rapid City office. He graduated from South Dakota State University with his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design in 2022 and gained several years of professional experience as an Interior Designer. Evan later returned to school, earning his Master of Architecture from Arizona State University in 2026, further expanding his expertise across both interior design and architecture.

Evan is drawn to design because he sees it as an art form with the power to shape moods, perspectives, and the way people experience everyday life. He loves how thoughtful design can transform an ordinary space into something inspiring, comforting, and exciting, or deeply reflective of the person who inhabits it. For Evan, design is where creativity and human experience meet, and its ability to influence how people feel and live is what makes it so meaningful to him.

Evan is currently focused on expanding his knowledge and professional experience as he works toward achieving licensure in both architecture and interior design.
