As the Harrisburg School District continues to expand, there was a need for a new middle school to serve the growing population in the northeast corner of the district, situated on the southeast side of Sioux Falls.
Pleased with Architecture Incorporated's design of the original Harrisburg North Middle School, the district wanted to incorporate the functionality of that building into this new facility. This new facility features a gymnasium, theater, commons, band and vocal rooms, food service, administrative offices, three classroom wings, athletic field, and outdoor running track.
This new middle school is designed to support the district's expanding educational needs, offering modern amenities and a flexible layout that accommodates both academic and extracurricular activities. With a focus on functionality, safety, and student engagement, the facility will provide a dynamic learning environment for years to come.
