Completed in the summer of 2024, the RESPEC Corporate Headquarters in Rapid City saw a major expansion with the addition of a two-level office facility designed to enhance both functionality and aesthetics. The new structure adds approximately 17,000 square feet to the existing campus, including a 6,000-square-foot basement housing lab and storage space, and an 11,000-square-foot main level dedicated to office use.
The addition is seamlessly connected to the existing building via an enclosed bridge, which not only facilitates year-round access but also serves as a gateway to an adjacent outdoor deck—offering a unique blend of utility and outdoor connectivity.
The new space features a mix of private and open office areas, as well as modern training rooms, conference rooms, and a spacious break room. Positioned to maximize its location, the office addition offers stunning panoramic views of the Black Hills, creating an inspiring work environment. Architectural highlights include contemporary window shadow boxes and vertical fins that give the façade a distinctive and dynamic appearance.
