St. Joseph's Health and Family Services Center

Architecture Incorporated designed a new health care facility at St. Joseph’s Indian School to provide more efficient space to better serve current programs, flexibility for future programs, and better student access. SJIS has provided a residential, quality grade 1-8 educational program for Native American children — at no cost — since 1927.  The enrollment is approximately 200 students, with small class sizes to provide individual attention. On-site clinic health care is provided for students and staff, as well as Family Service counseling working one-on-one with each student and their family. The new two-level 15,000 SF facility will offer full clinic services, sick bay rooms with 11 beds, and an office level for the full range of counseling services offered to students and their families.
