The new University of South Dakota School of Health Sciences building successfully brought together eight School of Health Sciences departments that had been at various locations spread across campus. The three-story, 45,000 square foot building is immediately adjacent and connected to the USD Sanford School of Medicine and acts as a gateway to the southwest corner of campus. The collocation and adjacencies of programs coupled with state-of-the-art simulation and technologies provides immeasurable opportunities for collaboration and interdisciplinary learning and teaching. The University of South Dakota was able to welcome their students and faculty into this building for the fall semester in 2022.
